Conference to Put Lincoln on the Accountancy Map

More than 100 professionals representing 14 different accounting businesses will visit Lincoln for a prestigious conference that we are hosting next week.

The Kreston UK Conference 2015 will take place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Lincoln on 26th and 27th February, bringing together accountancy businesses from all over the British Isles.

All delegates belong to Kreston International, the 13th largest global network of accounting firms.

A total of 103 people will attend the main gathering on Friday 27th February to network and share ideas across the organisation.

There will be dedicated breakouts for representatives from each of the firms to attend that are designed as platforms for members to discuss opportunities and share ideas between each other. In addition to the Managing Partners, the groups due to meet at this year’s conference are for those specialising in audit and tax work, the healthcare and professional practices sectors and HR, IT and Marketing.

During the event delegates will enjoy a dinner in the Chapter House at Lincoln Cathedral while some will play a round of golf at Woodhall Spa Golf Club or take a tour of Feilden House, Lincoln engineering firm Siemens’ new facility at Teal Park.

“Kreston International is a global network of independent accounting firms with a reputation for providing trusted compliance and advisory services to entrepreneurial businesses,” said Adrian Reynolds, Managing Director.

“The annual conference is an excellent opportunity for members to share ideas and build relationships, and we are proud and honoured to have been asked to host the 2015 event.

“Many delegates have never visited Lincoln before and so we have planned a schedule of activities which will show our historic city at its very best.”

Kreston member firms attending are: Alex Picot Group, Barber Harrison & Platt, Bishop Fleming, Clive Owen & Co LLP, Duncan & Toplis, EQ Accountants LLP, Horsfield & Smith, James Cowper Kreston, LHM Casey McGrath, Mitchell Charlesworth, Peters Elworthy & Moore, Kreston Reeves, Consilium Chartered Accountants and Kreston Isle of Man.
